Text Messaging Service for Olsburg Residents

For those living within the City Limits of Olsburg, a text messaging service is a great way to stay informed about notices that can make it easier for our residents to adjust and make necessary changes. ​Please complete this form, one form for each cell number you would like to opt in.

Application for Services

Olsburg provides Water, Sewer, and Trash services to our residents. Application for Services is required for new residents prior to moving in. This form can be downloaded, completed, and submitted to City Hall. A driver's license or other state photo ID, and a $75.00 Initiating Service Fee are required at the time of application.

Dog Licenses

Dog Licenses - All K-9's are required to have a city-issued dog license. See Ordinance 363. Renewal for licenses is by April 30th each year.

A current copy of the dog's vaccination record from a Veterinarian is requried to issue a license. 

Dogs spayed or neutered are $5.00 each. Unspayed or un-neutered dogs are $15.00 each.

CMB Licenses

Establishments selling beer (cereal malt beverages) are required by Kansas law to hold a CMB License. 

Building Permits

Building Permits are required for any structures over 50 square feet. Applications for building permits are recommended at least two weeks prior to beginning your project. There is a fee of $0.05 per square foot (minimum $20.00) at the time of application. Drawings of the proposed structure must accompany the application.

Use for select services such as utility payments and camping fees! When paying Utility Bills, use your real City account number to avoid delays in credit to your account. Convenience fees apply. Online payments 2.5% will be added per transaction. In person payments $1.50 will be added per transaction.
The City of Olsburg uses a third party vendor to process payments. Charges on your statements will show as Kansas.gov.

Use of City Property Application & Agreement

Olsburg City Council adopted the Policy for Use of City Property at the February 8, 2022 city council meeting.

There has been an increase in city owned property being used and not returned or returned in damaged condition. This results in increased cost to the city to repair or replace items. Please contact City Hall with any questions - 785-468-3209.
